What a difference a week makes? Last week many of us were going out to eat, working our normal jobs and looking forward to Spring Break in the U.S. and then life as we knew it suddenly stopped. And by stop, I mean a complete slam on your break to avoid a crash, halt! Now, many of us are shut up in our homes, wondering how to use our pots and pans because eating out in a restaurant is a distant memory and secretly praising teachers for being miracle workers and educating our children. And for many, this is a MAJOR change. And of course, change is always hard and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we can't predict when we will go through difficult times but we can control how we react and how we will recover. We know that this global pandemic has taken a toll on our lifestyles and livelihood, our stock markets, our confidence in our political leaders and our ability to see the silver lining. Here's the Good News: your worth is not tied to any of these- not your performance metrics, not your 401k, not your job title, not your house, not your car, not your share of stocks-- none of it! I know personally that even in uncertain times, you can overcome if you don't give up. If you would like to discuss strategies for overcoming while you're #social distancing, click the schedule link to setup a time to have your private, 1-on-1 video chat and let's get to work and focus on the positive!
